Tradition
Fossiland® goes back to the fossil gallery of the same name near Munich, founded in 1982 by Dr. K. A. Frickhinger – for many years the first address for fossils of outstanding quality. Fossiland is committed to this tradition.

Fossil restoration
Is your ichthyosaur fossil from Holzmaden showing yellowish sulphur efflorescence? Then proper treatment is essential. Fossiland is a leader in the restoration of Holzmaden fossils with pyrite precipitation. The process I have further developed offers the best possible protection against loss. If you wish to sell your affected find, professional restoration will also protect you from any claims by the buyer. A superficial treatment will inevitably cause problems.
