Offer

In the case of high-quality pieces, I may offer you a purchase or Brokerage.

If you are interested in an initial consultation, please contact me and send photos without obligation. A few photos will suffice to give you a first impression. These should be sharp. The easiest way is to upload them to WhatsApp. I usually get back to you within 24 hours.
You will receive an initial assessment from me as to whether it is a “special” fossil, whether it is of scientific and/or commercial value and whether I can offer you further services.

I would be happy to inform you about possible further steps on the way to the optimal marketing strategy for your valuable individual item, your collection or your estate:

My initial consultation is free of charge and there are no obligations for you.

Fossils from the Posidonia slate of Holzmaden are one of my favorite sites. Especially as they are right on my doorstep…

The Holzmaden fossil deposit in Baden-Württemberg is one of the world’s most important sites of the

Lower Jurassic (Lias epsilon, approx. 180 million years old). It is best known for its spectacular slate finds. As a result of the low-oxygen conditions on the seabed at that time, these show exceptional preservation (Konservat-Lagerstätte).

If you would like to sell fossils from the Posidonia slate, please contact me – I offer top prices for good quality.

Fossils from the Hunsrück slate of Bundenbach (Devonian) are my favorite collecting area. I offer top prices for good quality.

The Bundenbach fossil deposit in Hunsrück (Rhineland-Palatinate) is a globally unique site from the Lower Devonian period (approx. 400 million years old). It is best known for the so-called Hunsrück slate, in which marine creatures are “fossilized” with a metallic sheen due to the inclusion of sulphur gravel (pyrite).

If you would like to sell fossils from the Hunsrück slate, please contact me – I offer top prices for good quality.

Vertebrate fossils from the limestones around Solnhofen (Jurassic) are prized by collectors worldwide.

The Solnhofen fossil deposit in Bavaria (Altmühltal) is considered one of the world’s most important sites from the Upper Jurassic period (approx. 150 million years old). The extremely fine-grained Solnhofen limestone made it possible to preserve fossils in incredible detail. Even the finest structures such as feathers, dragonfly wings or soft parts of fish remain visible.

If you would like to sell fossils from the slab limestones, please contact me – I offer top prices for good quality.

Fossils from the oil shale of the Messel Pit (Eocene) are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and are only traded from old collections.

The Messel Pit near Darmstadt (Hesse) is a globally outstanding fossil deposit from the Eocene (approx. 47-48 million years old). It was the first German natural monument to be declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. The oil shale there was formed in a maar lake. This allowed fossils to be preserved in a quality that often even makes soft tissue, stomach contents or fur and feather outlines visible.

If you would like to sell fossils from the oil shale, please contact me – I offer top prices for good quality.
