Paleontology with passion for 40 years. As a graduate geologist/paleontologist, companion of scientific excavations, museum preparator, appraiser and expert for fossils, an experienced expert at Fossiland is at your side and personally takes care of your concerns.
Tradition
Fossiland® goes back to the fossil gallery of the same name near Munich, founded in 1982 by Dr. K. A. Frickhinger – for many years the first address for fossils of outstanding quality. Fossiland is committed to this tradition.

Please understand: As a rule, I do NOT respond to inquiries about the following fossils:
- fossils of dubious origin, the import of which is subject to legal restrictions
- Amber, Mammoth
- Bulk goods
- Artifacts, minerals, rocks

AAPS Members Code
- In compliance with international, national, state and local regulations regarding fossil handling and business practices.
- Access to sites based on permission from landowners or government authorities.
- Avoidance of any consequential damage to land, flora and fauna when collecting fossils.
- Ensure that fossils received from collectors or third parties are in accordance with the above collection guidelines established by the Association.
- Notification of outstanding finds of scientific or public interest to the responsible local authorities.
- Brokerage of unique finds of scientific or public interest to responsible bodies for research, science and preservation.
- Avoiding false information about the identity, location, age, formation, repair or restoration of fossils.
- Use of reputable business practices in the procurement and sale of fossils.
- Commitment to trustworthy dealings with fossil collectors.
- Maintain a good credit rating among other suppliers of earth science materials.
- Promotion of good relations and cooperation with authorities, institutions and organizations that are actively involved in palaeontological issues.
